I know I just posted an update but I forgot to post some of my favorite professional photos that we had taken when Joss turned one and Jett turned three.  B. Gallery Photography always does a great job of capturing our family and this time was no different!

LATELY:

The longer I go in between blogging, the less I remember!  So this post will just be a quick recap of our last month (mostly photos and captions).

About a month ago Jake had to go to Nashville for 5 days for continuing education.  The kids and I pretty much stayed put the whole time (other than going out for one treat).  Some moments were better than others.  We definitely missed Jake.  He is our entertainment!

We also went to the Saunders County Fair this last month and Jett and Joss got to go with all of their Akerson cousins!  Joss loved the parade and was clapping, dancing, and waving.  Jett had so much fun at both the parade and carnival.  He went on a little roller coaster, the ferris wheel, and all of the other little rides with his cousins.

We went to the Lincoln Zoo with my mom, dad, and the Simanek family a few weeks ago.  The highlight for Jett was the train.  Unfortunately that was Joss' least favorite!

We had the pleasure of reuniting with some of our college friends at the beginning of August.  It's always wonderful to catch up with these girls!

We managed to find some time during this busy month to go out to eat as a family at one of our favorite spots!

Jake's great aunt Masumi from Japan was back for his cousin Kali's wedding.  It was great to see her as always!

Jett had so much fun at the wedding playing with his cousins and dancing!

Jett got his first set of "little legos" recently.  In other words, Jake was very busy!

Jake and I were in Omaha this past weekend for the Nebraska Chiropractic Convention.  Although we both had class/work while there, our nights were free and it was fun to catch up with some friends and have some nice dinners out (kid free).

Meanwhile Joss and Jett stayed at Mema and Papa's for the weekend.  Not only did they get to play with Mema and Papa but they also had visits from Grandpa Lyle, Grandma Leona, Leann, Rachel, Katie, Letti, and Launa!  They had the time of their lives!  Thanks to everyone who helped out!

That sums up our month!  Can't believe that kids are back in school and football season is just around the corner.  This summer has gone way too fast!
