APRIL UPDATE:

I've found myself in an exceptionally good mood lately!  My pet peeve is sounding braggy but there is nothing wrong with a happy post every now and then, right?

Reason #1:
Great weather
I posted about this last time but life is just better in the spring!  Every night that we can be, we are outside until bedtime!  The wind is about the only thing I can complain about.

Reason #2:
Lots to look forward to
-This Friday is my moms Birthday.  All three of my sisters, my mom, and I took the day off work and we are going wedding dress shopping for Sandra.  Can't wait!  Speaking of wedding dresses, a few weeks ago we all tried on my moms wedding dress on Easter.  It's hard to believe we had never done that before.  Here is the side by side pic!

-I booked a trip to Chicago with college girlfriends in May.  We are staying in a condo and I can't wait to catch up with everyone.  There are 7 of us going and we haven't all been together at the same time for 3 years (pic below is from August 2013 in the Ozarks).

-Jake and I are going to Sarasota, FL. in June for 4 days.  It is a business trip for Jake but there will be plenty of time for relaxation.  And we get to catch up with some friends from chiropractic school while we are there!

Reason #3:
Extra energy
I took the plunge and started doing Pure Barre classes.  It started because I won a few free weeks and decided to just give it a try.  It was SO hard at first and still is but I love it and I'm addicted.  I'm in week 3 right now but I've been going 5 days per week and ended up signing up for 3 months.  I have never done anything like this before and have never really pushed myself when it comes to working out so I feel really good.  I also enjoy it because it is "me time" where I'm not thinking about other things I should be doing and I'm just focusing on myself.  My main goals are to get stronger, more flexible, more coordinated, improve my posture, and to have a lot of energy.  Rock hard abs and a bigger butt wouldn't bother me either;).

Reason #4:
These two
(No description necessary)

To end this post I am going to sum up our last few weeks!

We had a great Easter:

Two weekends ago we went to the zoo.  Jett said over and over again that he had "really fun."

When we don't have weekend plans, our Saturday evening tradition has become going grocery shopping together and then letting the kids pick out what they want from the salad bar and eating there.  It probably sounds super lame but the kids have fun, we don't have to make a mess at home, and we get grocery shopping out of the way (for a few days at least)!

Joss could not have been more excited about pushing a cart for the first time.

She is also mastering the "cheesy smile" lately!

We didn't think there were enough "sibling day" pics on social media yesterday so we had to take a few too;)!

Have a great week!
